They say it’s your birthday.

That’s right. It’s my birthday. I’m 34. Happy Birthday to me!!

My husband just came home from work, and, of course, didn’t remember. Not surprised. My almost 16yo daughter, who never forgets and has always made sure that her father doesn’t forget, seems to have forgotten this year. Let’s see if my brother (who is living here with us) remembers when he gets home from work.

On the knitting front, I’ve got a lace scarf on the needles (designing reinventing/unventing my own pattern) using a lace stitch pattern from the Big Book of Knitting Stitch Patterns. I’ll post a picture later!

On the spinning front, I’ve almost spun enough yarn (remember, using a spindle, don’t have a wheel yet!) to actually knit something, something bigger than a dishcloth, like say, a scarf, or a small shawl!! Yay me!!
