Daniel is trying so hard to get around. He wants to run after the other little ones and play. Especially his brother. He sees Josh run by pushing his big dump truck and he gets so excited. You can clearly see he wants to run and play too! He’s been trying to crawl, not an easy task in a house with hardwood floors. At the moment we don’t have any area rugs. We do have those colorful foam? rubber? (not sure what exactly they are made of) mats that piece together. I put him down on them to play and try to figure out the whole crawling thing, but instead, he does what we call the “butt scoot” right off the mats. Yes, he scoots around on his tush to get to where he wants to go. Problem is, he also tries to crawl, so as soon as he’s left the mats, crawling is a little difficult due to the slippery wood floors! I need to make him some non-slip kneepads a.s.a.p.!
The girls are asking me to sew them some cheerleading outfits. And Hannah wants me to make play dough. So, I’ll try to get both done today when Daniel takes his nap. Maybe I’ll have them practice their handwriting or math (and then they can play with the play dough) while I sew. Also, Mina’s knitted ballet slippers will be done today.
