Oh Spring, where art thou?
Wake up sleepy head;
I long for green grass, blooming flowers, budding trees,
the earthy smell of a freshly planted garden.
My children long to spend hours in the warmth of your sunshine,
breathing in the fresh air, playing tag and hide and seek,
making new nature discoveries, observing the birds and the bugs.
We are tired of all this gloomy rain and snow and sleet!
