Summertime

What’s going on…

Molly turned 8 back in February and I never posted a picture (like I usually do when the kiddos have a birthday) so, here’s Molly:

I finished Tangled Yoke Cardigan (rav link) (but I don’t like the buttons, so I’ll be changing them):

I knit the girls some pocket slippers (rav link):

And…..we got a puppy! She’s a [...]

Nope, it’s still not finished…

Well, obviously, I didn’t meet my goal of finishing Tangled Yoke by January 12th. Oh well! I’m almost finished with the cabled section – I plan on finishing the cables and the short rows tonight, so, very soon (I’m hoping this weekend) it will be finished. Then, on to sweaters for the little [...]

The sleeves are joined…

and I’m about an inch into the yoke. My goal is to finish this sweater by next Monday (the 12th).

Knitting (this is taking forevah):

Here’s a couple of shots of what [...]

A photo update…

Hannah knits! All my girls know how to knit now. When the boys are old enough, I’ll teach them too.

The finished Prayer Shawl for my sister (I know it’s a crummy picture – the shawl is layed out on my lumpy bed, and I’ve already shipped it to her, so I can’t take another picture):

Daniel [...]

Just keep knitting…

Here’s some shots of my progress on Ardessie:
I’ll be weaving in the ends when each section is done so there aren’t millions to weave in when finishing:

A pair of shorties for Daniel:

And, most importantly, a prayer shawl for my sister (she’s going through some trying times):

For those who don’t know what a prayer shawl is, [...]

Finished Mitts

For me, myself and I:

For Miss Sarah:

Both were knit with Noro Cash Iroha on size 7 needles.
