Well, obviously, I didn’t meet my goal of finishing Tangled Yoke by January 12th. Oh well! I’m almost finished with the cabled section – I plan on finishing the cables and the short rows tonight, so, very soon (I’m hoping this weekend) it will be finished. Then, on to sweaters for the little [...]
and I’m about an inch into the yoke. My goal is to finish this sweater by next Monday (the 12th).

So, we’ve been trying to get the house ready for sale and it’s taking longer than we planned. Hurting my lower back hasn’t helped. I hurt it a little over a week ago sealing the grout on the new bathroom floor (guess I twisted the wrong way), and it feels like it’s getting worse instead [...]
…to get the hang of this spinning wheel! It’s a little different than spindling. I feel like I have more control when I’m spinning on a spindle as opposed to the wheel. I think after a few more hours days of practice I’ll have better control on the wheel.
