Spun…

Learning from my mistake….

Yesterday, I accidentally felted some raw fleece that I was washing. I had it in my washing machine, and was on the last rinse, I pushed the fleece to the side, I turned the hot water on, and then I went to go read some blogs for a couple of minutes…..and forgot about the fleece….until [...]

Knitting, spinning.

Spinning (mill ends from Fibers 4 Ewe):

September already?

So, we’ve been trying to get the house ready for sale and it’s taking longer than we planned. Hurting my lower back hasn’t helped. I hurt it a little over a week ago sealing the grout on the new bathroom floor (guess I twisted the wrong way), and it feels like it’s getting worse instead [...]

That’s right. It’s my birthday. I’m 34. Happy Birthday to me!!
My husband just came home from work, and, of course, didn’t remember. Not surprised. My almost 16yo daughter, who never forgets and has always made sure that her father doesn’t forget, seems to have forgotten this year. Let’s see if my brother (who is living [...]

Spindle picture.

Here’s a picture of the spindles I made (they’re pictured on a blanket my Aunt crocheted):
